Nyeh is the Stubborn spirit, who gracioualy lent his services to securing Kennet after the defenses fell. Again. He was propitiated with a shrine first of course.
Personality[edit]
Doesn't like to out and out state he likes something or not.
Relationships[edit]
Kennet Trio[edit]
The girls made a shrine for him in return for his help to keep Kennet safe.
Appearance[edit]
If preety much just an old mans' face.<ref=":0"/>
Abilities[edit]
Has been known to actually help Practice.<ref name=KT>Nyeh
A spirit of the feeling of being perturbed. Low power but high endurance. Sticks around, helps practice, is uncooperative if tributes/shrine stuff is delayed. - 15.2 Spoilers, Keeping Tabs, Kennet</ref> Apparently a tough spirit thanks to his endurance.<ref>“Nyeh, for the alarm.”
Nyeh was a scowling, grumpy-looking spirit. All the traits of a humorless old man, hunched, big nose, permanent scowl, but without being old. He had a light to him like he was standing in lighting more like daylight than the darkness around them, slightly out of sync.
“With a curse to hold. You’re a tough one, Nyeh, so I’m giving you this responsibility.”
The conjured sliver of Nyeh looked unhappy at the added responsibility, but Lucy gave a bit of a food offering, and he took it and stomped off into the woods. - Excerpt from Go for the Throat 23.4</ref>
Shrine[edit]
Nyeh's shrine is a horizontal log decorated with stone to resemble a house.<ref name=":0">The spirit flowed from the bottle to the bit of trunk with the round burrow hole in it. A man’s face with a very pronounced chin and brow peered out, looking around suspiciously. He stuck his ‘head’ out a bit further and began moving his lips like he was lecturing them, but no sound came out. His head had no solidity to it besides the face, and was instead a blur of red smoke.

The spirit made a grumpy face and then settled back in the hole in the log that was framed with stones, done up in layers and made to resemble a house with rooms. Small trees in pots framed it. His lips moved again. - Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.8</ref>
Chronology[edit]
Verona used him as part of a test Summoning when she was preparing to secure The House on Half Street as her demesne.<ref>The shrine spirit Nyeh. A spirit that helped practice and exemplified stubbornness. - Excerpt from Left in the Dust 16.7 a Part 15.6]]</ref>
Lucy later called him as part of her security when meeting up with the Sable Prince.
Trivia[edit]
- Was named Nyeh by the Kennet Trio, unknown if he had some other identity outside of it.<ref>“It helps if you name it,” Jessica said.
“Which is why we named the shrine spirits, yes, for sure,” Verona said. - Excerpt from Summer Break 13.6</ref>?
