Gone and Done It 17.x is the sixteenth chapter of Gone and Done It.

Plot

Easton Songetay, Shay Graubard and Vaughn Willin approach Verona on the roof top, she flings them into the Kennet Undercity and they get mobbed by school children. After a few minuets of fighting the Vice Principal appears on her mount. Freak and Squeak also appears and Freak punches Easton, knocking him off the roof.

One of Vaughn’s beastmen catches him and takes him to the ground, Easton heals himself with a potion his roommate Myles made. Shay appear with Cal Cavendar who she has just rescued from the school.

They leave looking for a way to the surface, as they walk they talk about their standing within practitioner society.

Suddenly the moon explodes and their transported into Kennet Found. A girl in a rabbit mask approaches them and asks to see their pass, which is required to enter Kennet Found. They also learn that it’s illegal to run away whilst a writ is being written, have a bound Other or not wear a face covering.

Luna Hare also tells them that violence is only permitted when the moon is bleeding. They’re given writs and told to go to different places (Factory C, Church of Lost Gods, Sootsleeves hold) each writ has a time limit that just enough to complete the task but with a chance they’ll get lost and fail.

The four of them notice Verona’s Demesne claim has started again. They head back to the cabins their all staying at to regroup and plan what to do next. The war mages gather and discuss the fact that their now less important than the other practitioners now that they can’t use violence.

Shay goes to make tea and Easton see down her chest, notices she has no nipples and that she has a scar on her chest. He realises she’s a doll bound by her parents, he confronts her about it a mentions that her being bound would be against the rules of this place. He considers releasing her, either to help her or to mess with the Graubard family.

He notices that she serves tea to the non combat practitioners first.

Easton, Shay, Cal, Tomas Whitt and Susanne Rinehart make their way to Verona demesne claim and find it locked. The Alabaster Doe appears and tells them Verona is answering Musser’s Lordship claim.

Easton and Cal leave to get rid of their writs taking Susanne Rinehart, the women that’s protecting them from the Turtle Queen, with them whilst the others wait for Verona to return.
