Pipes is a dog tag and one of John's squad mates.

Personality

He was part of John's old squad along with Grandfather and Doe.

Appearance

He is tall, has a large build and is physically strong.<ref>“Pipes.”

Nicknamed for his voice.  Big, boisterous, strong.  He looked bigger with all the gear he wore.  Extra layers and protective vest.- Excerpt from Break 2</ref> He has a beard.<ref>and the big guy, who had a full beard and a couple of inches on the others.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.2</ref>

Abilities

Armed with a rifle and is skilled at using it.<ref>Pipes can shoot but they’ve made it clear that if we go that far, they’ll go after the people in the car.  They’re pretty sure that they can kill a few of them before Pipes finishes off the last of them.  I believe ’em.”

Chronology

He was born out of the war in Afghanistan and was later captured and bound by Richmond Leonard.

Was freed by John so that he could assisted him in the fight for the Carmine's Throne.

Him and Grandfather accompanied Lucy to visit the shrines.

He helped Verona, Tashlit and Matthew deal with the stuck-arounds in the undercity.

When the Family Man's gang attacked Kennet he helped Lucy fight off one of the Others that invaded.
