Fall Out 14.6 is the sixth chapter of Fall Out.
Plot[edit]
Jeremy notices Verona is acting strangely and asks if it’s about her dad. Jeremy talks about how he became interested in Verona, he says he feels ignored by her. Lucy suggests talking to her about his feelings towards her and says Verona’s dealing with a lot at the moment.
Lucy also agrees to go on a date with Wallace before his surgery.
Lucy goes to visit Crooked Rook, pass Reggie as she climbs up to him. Inside are Rook, Miss, Matthew and Grandfather. The Dog Meat and Bridge are also confined here. Lucy offers everyone some home made bread, bruschetta and garlic butter. Matthew says he plans to visit the Undercity with some of the goblins afterwards and that Verona has been avoiding him. Grandfather takes Reggie to visit the shrines with him. They all concluded that their conversation is almost certainly being observed by Charles.
Lucy is annoyed that Kennet is slowly dying and theirs nothing they can do to stop it.
Miss tells Lucy to visit Guilherme and then leaves. Matthew also leaves.
Rook says Reggie is more unstable now the Hungry Choir has been destroyed, she plans to make him closer to being an Oni in an attempt to save him. Rook also says she is planning to leave Kennet soon.
She tells Lucy that for Miss Kennet was like a child she had nurtured into existence, not it’s been damaged beyond recognition she needs time to grieve for it. She says they all need time to grieve before the start of the next fight.
As Lucy goes to leave she notices a dog tag and ring on top of her bag, left their by Grandfather. Inscribed on them are the words John and Songbird respectively, she takes them as well as John's guitar.
Later Lucy comes across some undercity kids forcing a girl to eat tadpoles. They flee and she gives chase. She avoids a tripwire on top of a set of stairs and manages to detain him. She spots another kid looking at her and summons Snatchragged who proceeds to tackle him and holds his face under water. Lucy tells her to try and find the others and interrogates him to find their hideout.
Her and some goblins enter the abandoned building by the liquor store and upon realising that she’s a witch they all surrender. Lucy gets the goblins to return the stolen stuff and takes the kids back to the Undercity, then she calls Verona who puts them in a level four detention at the school.
She visits Guilherme and offers him some bread, he tells her he could teach her how to make better bread but it will be a hard series of lessons that will give her better sweet feelings whenever she looks at bread again. He warns her that the Wildhunt might come for him.
Alpeana is sleeping, she left a note with instructions on it and some candy for her.
Lucy meets Verona and Avery in an Alpeana nightmare. Verona’s nightmare is of her and Melissa doing drugs together, Avery’s is of the Thunder Bay practitions hooking her in and Lucy’s is about all the people she’s lost, John, Guilherme, Paul and her dad. Lucy says Charles probably can’t see them in dreams.
They start planning to remove Charles from his throne and replace him.
