One After Another 10.2 is the fifth chapter of One After Another. Lucy, Avery and Snowdrop deal with the Witch hunter, Booker and Alyssa head back to school, Melissa is still a bit of a pain.

The Duo plus snowdrop and Melissa leave the Cabin where the Furs were kept. They are met by Nibble who covers the situation in depth.

There is some hilarious talk of centaur love triangles and trash television.

They find a bell the hunter put down and with Melissa's help find out how to mess with it enough to provide cover to get away. The Hunter however is very very good. Chloe and Nibble step in to give others the chance to escape but it still isn't enough. The hunter succeeds in shooting and hitting someone.

Earlier that evening Lucy got a call from Avery, informing Lucy that Melissa was making some very bad choices, and that they need to deal with it.

Booker is leaving town with Alyssa, and Lucy wants to say goodbye to him. He is talking with his mom and she doesn't want to interrupt so she chats with Alyssa.

Alyssa tries to convince Lucy to try and reach out to others from a place of compassion. Lucy takes her chance to say good by to Booker. She heads off in her fax shape to try and meet up with Avery

When she meets Verona's dad she confronts him about his behavior but this a largely unsatisfying conclusion. She continues on and meets up with Avery and Snowdrop at the parking lot. It turns out that Melissa's depression combined with her awareness have been enough to attract the attention of the Barney seeking Biscuit.

John has been shot and the grave bullet has kept him from coming back to life.

Melissa shields the group from the witch hunter who threatens to shoot her, then tries to negotiate with her trying to get into her head and convince her that she is being used. Backup arrives and the Witch Hunter takes his leave, asking Melissa to come to him for help later.

Lucy thinks back to earlier in their evening when Mel found a fae syringe that seems to contain some of edith's essence in the Cabin.
