The Vice Principal is a gang leader in the Kennet Undercity and head of their version of Kennet public school.

Personality[edit]

She has the typical likes and attention span of a girl her age. She is intelligent and charismatic to a point that belies her years.

Relationship[edit]

Advisors[edit]

She hired Freak and Squeak to work as a 'guidance councilor'.<ref>“The fuck?” Freak raised her voice, before stomping over.  She had a sash that read ‘guidance’.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.3</ref> She also got the School Nurse as an advisor who would stand in for The Resident when he was deposed.

Kennet Trio[edit]

Her and Verona managed to form a working relationship, helping to keep order in the Undercity and return any innocents to Kennet Above.

Subordinates[edit]

She has an alliance with the preschoolers, using them as enforcers.<ref>“You’ll love it less when they stab you.  Or bite.  Vice principal established a quick alliance with them, right away.  They’re her bottom tier enforcers and errand runners, paid in T.P., cigarettes, and vending machine candy.”- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.3</ref>

Appearance[edit]

She's a young girl wearing a fairy costume with a sash proclaiming her title on it, wielding a wand with an iron star on it. She rides the former Vice Principal, a man with a cage around his head, using him as a steed.<ref>The Vice Principal was about seven or eight years old, wearing a fairy costume, and bearing a sash with her self-appointed title on it.  She held an oversized wand with a star on the end, and she stood on the back of a four hundred pound man with a cage around his head, a chain leading from inside the cage to her hand.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.3</ref> As time went on her steed became more knotted, becoming bigger, stronger and more loyal.<ref>The Vice Principal had dodged it, but her pet hadn’t, as if her predecessor had absorbed everything, getting bigger, fatter, less shapely, stronger.  Maybe more loyal, or more settled into his role.- Excerpt from Playing a Part 15.1</ref> She seems to be continually updating her style.

Abilities and Art[edit]

As a denizen she is effectively Aware and bereft of innocence. Unlike other Denizen leaders in kennet she has not knotted only becoming more powerful as a reader/

Chronology[edit]

She took over from the previous Vice Principal after he introduced capital punishment, enforced strict discipline and attempted to turn the student body into his own personal army.<ref>“That man she’s riding on?”

“The previous vice principal.”

...

Mallory commented, “Veep came in with a plan.  Delinquent kids?  Capital punishment-”

“Corporal?” Verona corrected.

“That too. Three strikes, school assembly, you in front of everyone.  You’d have to do a big speech, saying how sorry you were, what you did wrong, all that, then…” Mallory drew a line across her throat, making a choked sound.  “If you do a bad job of the speech, stutter, hesitate, they’d draw it out.”

...

“The other teachers were all cackling along with it, we heard, we saw.  They posted stuff up on the walls.  Burned all the books, plans for school uniforms with ties tight enough to make it hard to breathe.  Dreams of turning us into a personal army, literally beating us into shape, conformity…”- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.3</ref>

She got all the students to raid the washroom so she could give it out as a reward.<ref>First thing this morning, kids started raiding the washrooms here to sell, the vice principal took the toilet paper away and she’s handing it out on demand, in exchange for getting people to follow her rules.”- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.3</ref>

She meet with the Foreman and the Witch of Bitter Street at Rook's rooftop flat to discuss working with the Kennet Council. During the meeting she arranged to settle some territorial disputes she has with the Better Street Witch in the area around Kennet Areana and the movie theatre.<ref>“We’re in a tug of war over the old, burned out, broken down Arena.  I could give you the Arena.  Everything between it and the school.  And the movie theater.  Similar deal.  It’s a hangout for my guys, you’ll crash their lazy day, then a few days later we push you out.  But I heard that every time we push you out, you’ve got games up and running, there are movies to put on.”

“What about it?”

“Arena, Cinema.  Some of the ground between.  It’s yours.  But it’s a bit mine too.  My guys get to come in and watch movies, trade for concessions, on orders to be good, respect the space, respect you.  You order your guys to let mine in.” - Excerpt from Left in the Dust 16.1</ref>

Gave her "no contest" during Verona's demesne claim, in return Verona gave her a zebra shirt.<ref>Verona threw the shirt.  The kid caught it.

“No contest, then.  If you kick his ass.”- Excerpt from Left in the Dust 16.9</ref>

Her and her kids helped defend Kennet from Musser and his allies, fighting against Easton, Shay and Vaughn.

She has essentially become the biggest force in Kennet Below.
