Gone Ahead 7.3 is the third chapter of Gone Ahead. Avery and co gets into a fight with a scary Bogeyman.

Plot

The girls, John Stiles, Tashlit, the Goblins, and Alpeana are looking for a place outside the school to send Alpeana away to do stuff. They're being followed but not attacked. While there, Avery Kelly, Gashwad, John Stiles, Snowdrop and Tashlit get trapped into an Other's arena, which follows a sequence that makes it smaller and smaller each time, and the Other bigger and stronger. Avery Kelly realizes it and starts playing "tug of war" with him, reverting the sequence while he moves it along. Verona Hayward and Lucy Ellingson save them with the red button they got from Zed. The girls go back to the school. Avery Kelly is more shaken than she lets on. Nicolette comes to the room and asks them to talk seriously.

Major events

• John inform the group that people are following them
• Lucy and Verona create warren holes so the goblins can cross the river
• Avery finds a cave for Alpeana and the trio then proceeds to send her home.
• Alpeana tell the girls about the students that are having doubts about their allegiances to Bristow then proceeds to give the trio their gift, a way to communicate via dreams
• They hear gun shot and go to investigate
• Avery takes a warren hole to get a better position
• They get attacked by the bag head bogeyman and Avery figures out it’s pattern
• Lucy and Verona go back and get the big red button and use that to stop him
• Verona suggests using Bristow’s text messages against him by giving them to the brownies
• Nicollette comes to their room and asks to talk
