Damages 2.6 is the sixth chapter of Damages. They deliver a letter. Ms. Lewis quizzes Blake and Rose on Johannes' demense, glamour, and the future. Maggie's back.
Plot[edit]
They stop outside a library, making sure that delivering the letter is right done right. They take a detour to look at Johannes' demense, where Ms. Lewis points out something strange. Blake and Rose eventually hypotheses that his whole domain is a massive vestige where Others can pay a toll to return to times before the Seal of Solomon.
They continue walking home, and begin discussing about the lock of glamoured hair. Blake explains why he chose it, and Ms. Lewis explains about the fragility and cost of using glamour. Nearing the house, Blake quickly asks some more general questions about getting a familiar and implement. Ms. Lewis says getting a familiar is like finding a spouse; it takes time to familiarize yourselves. While getting an implement requires an intimate understanding one's self and how they address the world. Though Ms. Lewis also adds that Blake doesn't have time to be picky, since 'he Is not long for this world'.
At the house, they find Maggie waiting at the front door. Ms. Lewis says her goodbye. Blake and Rose then invite her into the house.
