Damages 2.5 is the fifth chapter of Damages. Ms. Lewis teaches Blake how to fight a faerie.
Plot
Ms. Lewis convinces the woman with the giant sword to leave and get her master's permission to attack. They use this opportunity to escape into a locked building, and learn about faeries. Mostly about how to stop someone from tracking you, and the fragility of faeries' glamour. Blake and Rose deduce that the faerie swordswoman would be too arrogant to decline a duel.
Blake asks Ms. Lewis for a powerful Demons name, and is given Ornias name. He uses the threat of Ornias to rush the faerie into action, and bloody scrap and June to distract her long enough to get in position. Blake draws a line to disappear, then leaps out with a rusty pipe to break her massive sword. However it was only an illusion. She reappears from behind and grabs Blake's mouth. He bites her hand, turns, and clobbers her with the pipe. Having defeated her, Blake takes a lock of her hair as his reward. They convince her to turn back into a bird so that they can return her to her master. Blake manages to negotiate with the Duchamp girls. They get their bird back, and Blake's group get to leave peacefully.
