</infobox> Samaniego is a leader of Witch Hunters associated with the Lighthouse, and possibly the leader of the entire Lighthouse organization.
Personality[edit]
When talking to practitioners, at least the ones he can kill easily, he is highly confrontational.
By all accounts is a competent leader.<ref>Leann would go and she’d send a message to the boss, Samaniego, and she’d say her group needed a little rest so they could find their way back to center. Elise would need the quiet. - False Moves 12.a</ref>
Relationships[edit]
He maintains relationships with groups of witch hunters throughout Eastern Canada and the Northeastern U.S.A., though the exact nature of these relationships is not clear.<ref>If you think you need seven (now eight) good witch hunters to cut down the riff raff, you know we’re good for it. We’re all in this together, Andy boy. You two, me and my guys, the Magog nuts, the Montreal organization. - Interlude 10</ref>
He has five children from two separate marriages, both of which have now ended. His first marraiage broke down after his wife found out he was a Witch Hunter, turning her and his children against him. The second ended amicably but his children hate him despite him having custody over them.<ref>“Five kids across two divorces. One ex, got a glimpse of what I deal with, she knows, she hates me, the kids don’t know but they grew up steeped in that hate, they felt betrayed for a long time. The oldest is only just now starting to talk to me again. Not as a son to a father, not as a friend. An acquaintance. But I ask him for help with technology, he teaches me. Other ex, no fucking clue what it’s all about, but we split amicably. I was tough, I made her feel safe after a relationship that left her feeling the opposite. Then she healed, and me being tough was a problem, not a good thing. Kids resent me for the breakup, could spit on me, they’re so mad. But I’ve got custody. Four and five years, and they turn eighteen, I don’t expect they’ll talk to me after that.”- Excerpt from Crossed with Silver 19.5</ref>
Appearance[edit]
He's brown skinned, has a white beard with wax in it and an upturned mustache.<ref>The man’s beard looked like it might have wax or something in it, to give the mustache a slight upturn, and the beard was really white, which was contrasted with the brown tone of his skin. His eyes studied her.- Excerpt from Crossed with Silver 19.5</ref> His voice has a rough edge towards it.<ref>He was old enough that his voice had a rougher edge to it, and he seemed like someone who’d practiced how to use it. For as fancy as his beard was, and for how practiced his voice was, he didn’t really seem super refined.- Excerpt from Crossed with Silver 19.5</ref> He as a tattoo of the Lighthouse.<ref>“Right arm. Her tattoo.”
Verona pulled her sleeve down to try to hide it, turning her body slightly.
“What was it?”
“Lighthouse tat. Like Samaniego and Lowe have.” - Excerpt from Summer Break 13.5</ref>
Chronology[edit]
