Gone and Done It 17.y is the nineteenth chapter of Gone and Done It.

Plot

Tanner shows Wye his piece of wall with the words “oh no” on it.

Wye starts putting piece on a board representing Kennet and the various people inside it.

Wye orders breakfast and then visits Gillian Ross, Alexander’s niece and tries to persuade her to work for him. Her mother Jen Ross appears and tries to stop him but is defeated by Wye. Nicolette comes out of her room and Wye offers to hire her as well.

Wye does a card reading to assess the loyalty of Musser’s allies. Afterwards he messages Mr Howles warning him against seeing Mrs Arland as his Lordship is more unstable than he realises.

Eloise and Elizabeth visit the records office to find out what the rules of Kennet Found are. They learn you get a writ for not wearing a mask, having bound others, being their without permission, taking power or information from an other or harm Kennet. The penalty is that you leave something behind, if the writ is aggravated you leave ten things behind.

Nicolette starts using the doll house and Gillian is put on the phones. Wye gets a tie and puts it on Gillian. Wye talks about his time at magic school and how he got kicked out, then he gets angry and Jen for using the wrong bathroom.

Wye says he wants Jen removed as the family member responsible for keeping track of family business and sorting out marriages because she’s become out of touch. Nicolette replies that it’s because she’s not kept up to date of events.

They use the doll house to spy on Anthem’s meeting with Miss. Miss explains the writs are enforced via karma then she gives an open pass to Liberty and Nicolette and asks Wye to talk to them first. Anthem attempts to push past the Law by using violence, citing the right of trail by combat. He shoots Miss despite warnings from Wye and Nicolette, gaining dozens of writs in response. The Ballerina appears, attacking Anthem and Wye closes the connection.

The board has now started bleeding, flowing from Kennet Found to Kennet Below. Tanner and Wye do a reading and discover that Anthem will kill Miss but Musser will succeed. Tanner's wall now says “still oh no” then changes to “she is naked and glorious and forever soaked in blood”.

Nicolette uses the doll house to see Verona talking to Maricica with a black nail embedded inside her, transformed into something else.

The Carmine Exile appears, he makes Wye an offer. Either to destroy everything he’s been working on, damage his relationship with his family and Musser and kill several of his allies. Alternately he can win this contest and prosper. He says that after he’s finished explaining Wye will pick the former.
