One After Another 10.d is the sixth chapter and fourth interlude of One After Another. Alpeana deviates form her nightly rounds to go on a fact finding mission in Raphael, the witch hunter's, mind. He does not have a happy history.

Alpeana comes to the motal where the witch hunter is staying.

She collects resources from the dreams of children.

Has to alter things in the hunters dreams until the lock turns and things actually happen.

As the children are woken in the dream they wake in real life.

Raphael remembers when he met The Milkmaid, how he escaped. the ordeal is a direct reliving and as such takes hours. Alpeana needs to guide the dream here and there.
