Satyr
Appearance
Satyrs are Others, some of which are created by Dionysus and are partially divine. They remain under the god's care or that of his cultists. Creatures of sexuality, fertility, and animal instincts, satyrs could take in these traits to be lighthearted and simple, warm sources of raw affection.
They are roughly the male equivalent to Nymphs, and both are noted to be kind to "innocents".
Appearances
Because they embody the ancient ideal of manhood and male sexuality, they tend to be handsome, flirty young men in their teens and twenties, unabashed in their attraction to any woman they saw on the street. The fur on their legs has a soft appearance while the curls of chest hair and chin-scruff are inviting.
Notable Examples
- Ibix Siblings
- Blackhorne (deuadia)
Trivia
- Satyrs can be traced back through Indoeuropean mythologies and fall roughly into the larger archetype of the "Wild Men of the Woods". These Wild Men are not strictly goat men as they can also have other animal traits other than the goat, properly called Fauns. Common traits include a connection to nature and fertility this includes things like Lust and debauchery and violence as these are all part of nature.
