Silver

Silver is a metal with particular magical properties.

Like salt, it's a purifying element, effective against things such as Night Hags<ref name=":0">Bonus Material: Binding and Countermeasures</ref> and Bogeymen.<ref>The negative binding, using opposites, then applies to seal the hallow,

Silver is traditionally associated with penetrating illusions; light reflecting off silver can, with power or focus behind it, damage or pierce illusions.<ref name=":0" />

Silver is associated with the Winter Court; all other Fae are vulnerable to silver, but using it against Winter Fae is very dangerous.<ref>“It’s all silver,” Avery noted.  “Silver paint, silver wire running down her arm…”
Raquel’s eyes flashed.  “Silver studs beneath her skin, silver belt buckle, silver nails sticking out of her nailbeds.”
