Satyrs are Others, some of which are created by Dionysus and are partially divine. They remain under the god's care or that of his cultists. Creatures of sexuality, fertility, and animal instincts, satyrs could take in these traits to be lighthearted and simple, warm sources of raw affection.
They are roughly the male equivalent to Nymphs, and both are noted to be kind to "innocents".
