Signature 8.7 is the seventh chapter of Signature.

Plot

The final chapter for our nameless protagonist's arc begins with her apologizing to Molly for missing a day of penance. She lets Molly know what's happening to her and how she may have to stand against Molly's family if she wants to survive. Unable to withstand the guilt anymore, the girl with the checkered scarf leaves to get ready.

Back in Johannes' Demesne, the girl negotiates with its owner for certain items. While they wait for Faysal to fetch the items, the sorcerer and the girl begin asking each other questions. Johannes explains how he got an Angel as a familiar, how he got the legendary Pied Piper's pipes, and that the reason he does what he does is because humanity is winning and Others are going to want a place. For our protagonist's turn, she admits she won't ever join Johannes' side and the reason she can't swear. Faysal returns with them items, and assists the girl to traveling to MacEwen Park safely.

After the awe of seeing Faysal's true form passes, the girl orders Buttsack to defend her. The girl with the checkered scarf sets to work blowing up the Goblin residents. While everyone is too hurt to attack her, the girl sets up even more barriers to protect her while she performed the Demesne ritual. No one challenges her therefore she is free to claim the name Mags and become Jacob's Bell newest ambassador.
