Go for the Throat 23.9 is the thirteenth chapter of the Go for the Throat. Verona scrambles for inspiration in the lopsided Kennet. She and Avery deal with interference and assistance. Lousie makes a decision and Verona introduces people to magic.

Plot

Verona works to construct a large diagram outside the Kennet Arena with the help of Julette, Alexanderp, and her two unnamed homunculi. She hopes that the diagram can help stabilize Kennett Below as it collapses through Kennett Above.

Lis appears and tells Verona that the diagram won't work, in part due to the lack of an available power source.

Avery arrives and checks in with Verona, until they are interrupted by am unfamiliar pair. A failed Practitioner and his Greedy technomancy hanger-on.
