Raphael Tindall lived through horrible things, now strives to prevent them.

Personality

Very serious and professional, been exposed to enough horrible things that he's not easily frightened.

The events in his past have made him angry, to the point where he's a danger to himself.<ref>Raph needed guidance, to find his way, he’d been through so much and he was so angry.  That was the kind of anger where, if they couldn’t train him to be collected and rational in the heat of it, he’d get angry and then get himself killed an instant later.- Excerpt from False Moves 12.a</ref>

Relationships

He worked with Clint, Elise, Leann, Nelson and Rocky as a journeyman a Witch Hunter before striking out on his own.

Appearance

He is a thin man,<ref>Raph, new, longer-haired, skinny, a little shaky, but still with that sense that he was dangerous, carrying a crossbow.- Excerpt from False Moves 12.a</ref> who wears casual cloths and has long messy black hair.<ref>He had black hair like he’d woken up with bad bedhead and had done little else but push it back from his face.  He wore a t-shirt, and jeans that were caked in mud from the knee down.- Excerpt from One After Another 10.b</ref> Knows enough about presentation to change up his appearance.

Abilities and Art

Disciplined and observant, his sharp eyes are easily able to detect and track Others as well as spot signs of magic.<ref>“Saw a glimpse, between the segments.”

He is mainly a trap master setting up his bells to enclose areas and cut targets off from each other.

Tools

Knows how to use Salt has a wide selection of blades, guns and more. He tends to trap areas with bells and can use guns with grave-blessed bullets in them. He is equipped with innumerable other tools such as a jar of acid.<ref>His teeth bit into the filter of the cigarette as he bent down, getting a jar, and set it on the desk.  He uncapped it, then, teeth still biting, took firm hold of the cigarette, waiting until he had as firm a grip as possible before releasing it with his teeth.

Chronology

Before the Story

Years ago he and his friends were the unwilling guests of The Milkmaid. He was able to escape but his friends were mutilated by the bogeywomen and later executed by investigating practitioners, presumably out of mercy.<ref>One After Another 10.d</ref>

A group of witch hunters eventually reached out to him to offer training and more.<ref> - False Moves 12.a</ref>

Arrival at Kennet

Asked some kids for stories to get a handle on anything weird going on with the town. Came in contact with Cig who he tried to dunk in acid, and Lis who he knew to look for but couldn't find.
