Interlude

Interludes are chapters narrated from the point of view of a different character to the main narrator, Blake Thorburn (excepting one arc, all normal chapters are from his point of view). This is not always the same character throughout the interlude. They are normally in third person as opposed to the usual first person, excepting diary entries. Interludes occur at the end of each arc, and Wildbow sometimes adds more in the middle as Donation bonuses, released whenever certain donation milestones are reached.

Interludes don't repeat a certain character unless they have gone through a major personality shift. Interludes are always important to the main storyline - intricacies to the setting are revealed, agendas are elucidated on and numerous other things are revealed. Interludes can feature characters who were considered as protagonists for Pact, and so they are very detailed and have interesting backstories rather than simply being plot dispensers.
