Null 9.4 is the fourth chapter of Null.
Plot[edit]
Blake begins his trial back on a twisted version of a farm. The farmer praises Blake for his work, but admits that he probably won't be able to keep him around. Frustrated, Blake agrees to go into town with him.
Current Blake decides to skip past all the unnecessary bits past Blake did, focusing instead on the next step. Blake enters a restaurant, and meets with Carl. Carl offers to help Blake, if he joins their group. Blake agrees, knowing that breaking from the script would fail the trial.
Once Blake reaches Carl's place, he is given everything he needs to survive. The others praised and cheered Blake on when he showed off his talents.
A quick scene at the supermarket has Blake remembering the regret he feels for abandoning the farmer.
Time passes as another scene has Blake remembering the time when Fungus Face revealed she was impregnated by Carl.
Later, another girl sneaks into Blake's bed, wanting to take his mind off his worries. However Blake refuses, remarking that something seems suspicious about the timing of Fungus Face's pregnancy.
More time passes, and Carl has become concerned about Blake's condition. They head outside, with Carl trying to convince Blake that nothing is wrong. Fungus Face leads a new group of recruits, including an Alexis doppelganger whom Blake says hi. After Carl tries to subtly nudge Blake to sleep with Alexis, Blake retaliates by pointing out all Carl's manipulations. Carl leaves, giving Blake a chance to escape the cult with Alexis.
Later at a shelter, Carl catches Blake and pins him down. Before Carl could continue with the next part, Blake has an epiphany. Alexis steps in to destroy the Shadow. In the end, Blake realizes that he was a vestige created from Rose.
