Bonds 1.5 is the fifth chapter of Bonds. Time flies when you're having fun.

Plot

Laird and Blake enter a coffee shop to continue talking. Laird gives more details about Molly's death, and explains some more about the rules of magic. Rose reveals that Laird is a chronomancer, and explains a bit more about implements. While Blake and Rose were distracted, Laird fasrforwards time and ditches them. Before they know it, it's getting dark and the Others are coming out.

Blake tries to hurry home, but is caught by Patrick, Ev, and Keller. The former Fae have some fun messing with Blake. Rose breaks another mirror and manages to convince them to leave. Patrick kisses Rose goodbye.

Laird reunites with Blake as he is walking back home. Blake tries to prove that Laird lied, but fails. With that, they depart.

• Patrick and company dont understand that Blake is male for the first few minutes of their acquaintence.
