Bonds 1.5 is the fifth chapter of the Bonds Arc. Time flies when you're having fun.

Plot

Laird and Blake enter a coffee shop to continue talking. Laird gives more details about Molly's death, and explains some more about the rules of magic. Rose reveals that Laird is a chronomancer, and explains a bit more about implements. While Blake and Rose were distracted, Laird forwarded time and ditched them.

Blake tries to hurry home, but is caught by Patrick, Ev, and Keller. They have some fun messing with Blake. Rose manages to convince them to leave.

Laird reunites with Blake as he is walking back home. Blake tries to prove that Laird lied, but fails. With that, they depart.
