Feorgbold

Feorgbolds or life vessels are a type of homunculus in the world of Pacts, often used by Briar Girl and made from corpses. Those under Briar Girl's command typically appear to be human-sized creatures wearing cloaks and bird-masks, and act according to the will of their maker and carries it out as best they can.

Creation

Briar Girl briefly describes that she created hers from corpses of the homeless or people no one would claim, purify them, wash them clean, decorate them, and then give them something from herself as a power source to bring them into life.

The method, while not exactly humane, is balanced as it is recycling from nature.
