Behaim Circle
A circle is similar to a coven except with both genders included. The Behaim circle is a large extended family in Jacobs Bell. They are one of the most influential groups in the town. Unlike many circles and covens, the Behaims do not focus on one area of expertise but instead spread themselves over a variety of subjects. The family is lead by Laird Behaim, who is a chronomancer and can control peoples perception of time. The family are enemies of the Thorburns, largely based on the fact that they believe the Thorburns have simply too much dangerous and unpredictable power amassed, and need to be eliminated in order for everyone else to be safe. Their family is in the position to gain even more power with the upcoming marriage of one of their own to one of the Duchamp Coven, the other powerful group in Jacobs Bell. Their Demesnes are spread throughout the town in their various homes
Duchamp Coven
The Duchamps are a group of women who are all enchantresses, or practitioners who control relationships. They are the other influential group in Jacobs Bell, with a large family lead by Sandra Duchamp. They will only teach their craft to women, which isn't as much of a problem as it would seem due to the fact that they only have female children. They are all very similar looking, with long straight blond hair and light skin. The Duchamps are known for marrying their daughters off to powerful practitioners. At least one member has shown the ability to summon an elf-like other with a 12 foot sword, as of Damages 2.4.
