Kyle is a member of the Kelly Family and Avery's cousin.

Personality

The only thing that really excites him are movies and games that he's looking forward to.<ref name=":1" />

Relationships

Kyle's relationship with Avery is mixed, sometimes it's like they're best friends and other times it feels as if Kyle is not interested.<ref>It felt like half the time they visited, Kyle would be as interesting and engaged as a damp sponge on the floor, and the other half of the time, somehow, he and Avery would strike up a conversation and it’d be like they were best friends.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.6</ref>

His father is his uncle's brother and his mother is his aunt's sister. They met at his aunt and uncle's wedding and it's implied that's when Kyle was conceived, something he wasn't aware of until it was pointed out to him.<ref>“So your aunt is your mom’s sister and your uncle is your dad’s brother?” Verona asked.  “And they got together?”

“Yeah,” Avery said.  “They met at the wedding.  The way I was told it, they were at the same table, they didn’t talk at all, then they basically tripped over each other as they were getting their stuff to leave and never separated.”

“That is not the story I got,” Kyle said.  “My mom couldn’t get my dad out of her head so she called him a few months later.  He felt the same way, they got married real fast.”

He's not on good terms with his dad.<ref>“He says that to me all the time, and it’s the most aggravating thing.  I’d punch him if I thought I could get away with it,” Kyle said.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.7</ref>

There's a Russian girl in his class that he's interested in but she always runs off before he can talk to her.<ref name=":1">“It’s dumb.  It makes me sound lame.  Feels like I’m riding the line, you know?  And the only thing that gets me excited is… how lame does it sound if I say it’s movies and games I’m looking forward to?  Or- there’s this girl in my advanced Bio, she’s from Russia, I think, and her English is really bad.  She looks scared every time the teacher starts talking too fast.  I do group work with her.  It feels good, helping.”

“You should ask her out,” Breanne said.

Mallory found Kyle attractive,<ref>Mallory stuck out a hand.  “Nice to meet you guys.”

“Sure,” Kyle said, looking weirded out by the handshake.

Verona saw Breanne put a hand out too, but Mallory was already moving around to their flanks.

Appearance

Kyle is skinny, with red hair and pale skin.<ref>Kyle was fifteen, skinny, red haired, and pale to the point of being translucent.  Even though he was between the two of them, Avery interpreted him as being more between Sheridan and Declan in personality.  Kind of ‘leave me alone’ from one and ‘let me play games’ from the other.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.6</ref>

Abilities

He's interested in programming, art, and game making but not particularly good at any of them.<ref name=":0" />

Chronology

He travelled to Kennet for the Kelly Family's annual Thanksgiving holiday dinner.

Went on a walk with Breanne, Avery, and Verona. The four of them visited the shrines together.
