Wild Abandon 18.a is the thrid chapter of Wild Abandon.
Plot
We see Luna Hare get created from fragments of moon rocks and bits of forgotten echo.
She heads down town talking to residents as she goes. She arrives at the Record Office and helps deal with an angry practitioner. Afterwards she turns in her writs and asks to see the Founder.
Her and Miss talk and eventually she asks if she can help her at all, Miss asks her to visit Matthew, check on Verona’s demesne claim and deliver messages to the undercity warlords.
Luna visits Verona, fining a practitioner she dumped outside before she enters, then she travels to the Undercity. Whilst their someone attacks her.
We see the Bitter Street Witch get created, it’s similar to how an animus is made.
She is talking to Nicolette via her laptop, which is magical, alive and given to her by the Kennet trio.
Nicolette has her doing a card reading which reveals that someone’s going to undergo a force familiar ritual.
She says Gillian is in love with Tanner and Wye is probably going to have them get married. The BSW mentions that she wants to be normal rather than her ugly old self
The BSW does another reading and it reveals that a child is going to be brutally murdered. Her and her brother Donny visit the market to get Matthew and warns him he’ll be offered a fake familiar. They find Luna held in a circle surrounded by Easton’s constructs, Matthew unleashes his Doom on them, then the BSW’s brothers arrive with reinforcements. In the confusion they manage to rescue her.
We see Dom being conceived.
Luna approaches Dom, leading him to Avery. She offers to let them out.
Dom says the Graubards got stuck in Kennet Found.
