Elizabeth Driscoll is a Historian.<ref>“Elizabeth Driscoll, Blue Heron graduate and historian by practice, deciphering places by way of their history and the diagrams formed by their layout.  Currently rooming here while working on a special project.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.z</ref>

Personality[edit]

Uptight, gentle<ref name=":1" /> and highly professional.<ref>“Good,” Musser said.  “That’s fine.  A nudge would be welcome.  She likes professionalism, so she should like you, Elizabeth, and Milo.”- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>

Relationships[edit]

She has a younger brother, Dom Driscoll, who she loves despite the age difference between the two of them.<ref>“I’m immensely proud of you.  Of getting that education.  Of you being in a position where he considered your opinion worth something, getting our foot in the door.  Your instincts got us here.  I’m also in a kind of agony.  Because I want you to be safe.  But I also want you to thrive.  I think of that as a special kind of hell formulated for parents.”- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>

She also has two highly supported parents that are immensely proud of her, they both want her to succeed and worry about her safety.<ref>“I’m immensely proud of you.

Her and Nicolette are work friends, the two of them often found excuses to work on projects together.<ref name=":0">Who do you get along with, here?”

“Zed,” Nicolette replied, meeting Avery’s eyes.  “And Eloise, a bit.  Liz, some.”

“Elizabeth Driscoll?” Verona asked.

“Yeah.  That was more of a work relationship.  But it was… we could talk the entire time we were working and it felt like we could keep going for hours longer, but we didn’t, so I always looked forward to the next joint project.  We found excuses to do them.  I think it was the same with her.”

“They’re all on the other side, now.  Or gone.”

“Gone, on the other side.  Yeah, both.  I was really looking forward to this summer.  Zed comes and goes, but he was going to be here.  Elizabeth studies at University and comes back for summers only now- Excerpt from Gone Ahead 7.4</ref>

Argued with Anthem Tedd against him killing some of Liberty's goblins.<ref>Anthem folded his arms.  “I’ve thought about having her favorites among the goblins killed.  It’d sober her up, wouldn’t it?”

“It might destroy her,” Elizabeth said.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.z</ref>

Her and Angie Demarest argued with each other culminated with Angie injuring Elizabeth.<ref>Fucking Angie isn’t getting a recommendation.  Hurting someone nice like Liz.  That was intentional, I can tell Musser that I saw.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>

She answered Matthew's demesne claim, using it as a chance to negoiated.

Attempted to prevent Milo from murdering anyone.<ref>Liz reached out, catching Milo’s wrist before he could put the knife to the man’s throat.  Or through the man’s throat.

“I was told I could do what I needed to do,” Milo said.  He sounded very calm.  His Sight was on.  “He’ll do, for a set of kills I’m trying to finish.”

“That wasn’t run by me,” Liz said.  “No.”- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>

Appearance[edit]

Dresses mainly in corduroy and shades of brown.<ref name=":1">“Wears corduroy, shades of brown, a bit uptight, but gentle.  Middle-tier family.”- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>

Abilities[edit]

Her sight turns people into two dimensions and puts them in a frame, like an old fashioned map. With an item in each corner providing her with information about the person.<ref>Elizabeth Driscoll’s sight had a way of framing people and things.  Each person was marked out in two dimensions, given a border and a faint background, and in each corner of that frame was an image.  It resembled old maps and where those maps often had dragons or the four great forces of the wind in the corners, the items contained in the frame of whatever she looked at with the Sight told her a great deal.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>

  • She owns a living map that can move on it's own and can be used to track people.<ref>Elizabeth reached down and got her bag.  She found the living map by touch, because it wriggled.  It held the appearance of a road map, like anyone might have in the glove compartment of their car, but moved of its own accord, folding rapidly into origami-like patterns, showing new things on each revealed face.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref> It can also show the blueprints of a building.<ref>Liz’s map shuffled itself, then opened up as a blueprint.  She showed them the layout inside.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>
  • She has various thermometers that allow her to discover if any other realms influence a place.<ref>She brought the thermometers out.  Abyss-tainted mercury, the tear of a god, a gilded leaf on a bead of water, and other similar devices let her track the ‘temperature’ of certain influences.  Abyssal, Ruins, Faerie, Goblin…- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>
  • She owns a coin which is burnt on one side, by flipping it Liz transported herself and others to the Kennet Undercity<ref>“Gives us easy passage between the overcity and undercity.  Me and anyone I’m touching.  Yes.  It’s an escape route, and I don’t have many easy ways of getting us between the two.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>
  • She can look at history of an area and learn about past events.<ref>Elizabeth used a practice while she walked.  Digging into the history of things.  She watched a flickering mess of previous events.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref> She can further clarify these events by using beads of her own blood.<ref>“Forma.  Viscerum.  Solidatur,” she ordered.

The bead of blood split into a thousand sub-beads, fanning, forming a light coating on the edges of the transparent image.  The image became faintly red tinted.

She squeezed out and flicked two more beads of blood to bring it even closer to reality, and to highlight the attacker.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>
  • She can create a slide show of images of an event by collecting three relevant items.<ref>If she could collect three of these, she could create a slideshow of images- more than three images.  She could paint a picture about what happened to Marlen.- Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.a</ref>
  • She can make a map that displays the whereabouts of friendly and hostile people.<ref>The dots illustrated what was happening.  Three red dots came down the hallway, at a lazy pace, and a fourth circled around the school.  The blue dots were in a cluster together.  They were moving toward the library, but as the red dot came inside, they stopped and went into the kitchens instead.- Excerpt from Wild Abandon 18.3</ref>
  • She knows how to use spell runes.<ref>It was Liz who spared them.  More light- from simple spell runes, drawn on the ground. - Excerpt from Gone and Done It 17.b</ref>

Chronology[edit]

Currently studying at university.<ref name=":0" />

She rented a workshop at the Blue Heron Institute, after Bristow's take over she let the students that supported Alexander stay their.<ref>“Elizabeth has ideas for tonight,” Talos said, “kind of.  A place to sleep for those who don’t want to go home.”

“What place?” Lucy asked.

“I requisitioned a workshop earlier this year.  I can put stuff away, people can bunk down on the floor.  School rules are pretty protective of the space and the stuff I get to request around it.  I can ask for people not to interfere.”- Excerpt from Gone Ahead 7.1</ref> She left shortly afterwards due to safety concerns.<ref>“Their parents were called.  They came to take them home.  They don’t feel it’s safe for them here.”

“Elizabeth is leaving?”- Excerpt from Gone Ahead 7.2</ref>

She was at the meeting where Abraham Musser announced his Lordship plan, helping him plan what order to take territories.<ref>“You can talk to Elizabeth Driscoll about that.  She’s worked out a pattern and layout that should be ideal.  There’s an order to the territories we’d take.- Excerpt from Fall Out 14.z</ref>

Elizabeth went with Milo songetay, Cynthia Gaspard, Angie Demarest and Eloise to investigate Kennet and rescue Marlen.
