Void 7.7 is the seventh chapter of Void.

Plot

Blake freaks out about Laird dying, feeling unsure why he feels like he has just been betrayed. Conquest suggests Blake try and help him, but Blake is unable to do much other than have Evan push him face-down. Blake struggles to find a reason to not throw himself into Conquest's bayonet, eventually remembering that he doesn't want to die. Just as Conquest is about to attack, Blake uses the blood of a free man to temporarily block him. However Conquest merely continues his assault, and forces Blake and Evan to put all their effort into dodging. Blake unleashes his fury in the form of a strongly worded insult, then orders Evan to check on Rose.

The fight continues, with Conquest stabbing and shooting while Blake dodges and mocks. A recovered Maggie rejoins the fight from afar, causing Conquest to turn his attention to her. Distracted by Evan's flight to Maggie, Blake is pinned by a car Conquest struck. Blake uses the Stonehenge charm to stop time long enough to escape and meet up with Maggie and Evan. As the time stop stops, Evan reports that Rose is unconscious. Maggie uses Blake's blood to awaken her. They then use Laird's blood to draw a binding circle while Pauz distracts Conquest.

The Lord of Toronto has had enough and starts shooting down all nearby animals, including Evan. Maggie deserts them, and Conquest gives Blake another chance to surrender. Blake convinces Conquest that he can't surrender without Rose's permission as well, thus causing him to chase after her in the mirror world. Pauz tries to get his revenge on Blake, but gets intimidated away. James Corvidae reappears with a mirror, and throws it into the binding circle. Thrice bound with the blood, hair, and pages of three freed prisoners, Conquest is finally captured and defeated.
