Vanishing Points 8.a is the sixth chapter of Vanishing Points.

Plot

America Tedd and Liberty Tedd go to the "goblin sage" to ask for his blessing to declare war against the trio, for what happened to Alexander. They then find the trio swimming/jumping-off-a-bridge and kind of attack them. Liberty Tedd takes a bad excuse to retreat and tell the girls that America Tedd is planning something for the field trip but she wants no part of it. Flops tells her he knows how Alexander died.

Major Events

• America and Liberty give gifts of alcohol, tobacco and dynamite to the goblin sage
• America expresses how upset she is at Alexander dying and the goblins agree to her plan to get vengeance
• Liberty befriends a goblin named Flops-left
• They attack Lucy, Verona, Avery and Snowdrop at the bridge whilst they're swimming
• During the attack Snowdrops rusty fork hatches into Cherrypop
• Liberty uses Cherrypops distraction to stop the attack
• Liberty tells the trio how to get her email address
• Flops-left tells Liberty about John shooting Alexander, Liberty asks him to keep it quite for the moment
