Rowan Kelly the eldest child of Connor and Kelsey Kelly.
Personality
A typical surly teenager.
Relationships
Rowan is in a relationship with Laurie, but according to Avery they snipped at each other when they were together and Rowan didn't even miss her much when they were apart.<ref>Avery wasn’t really sure why they were together, when Laurie seemed really cool, nice, and pretty, with a lot of interests and passions. When they spent a lot of time together they got snippy with one another, and when they were apart, it was like Rowan didn’t even miss her that much. - Excerpt from Cutting Class 6.2</ref>
Chronology
Before the Story
Rowan is the eldest of the Kelly family. He is currently taking a gap year before deciding what to do next.<ref> Kelsey said. “Rowan’s taking a year to figure things out.”
“Part of that is the long goodbye with his girlfriend,” Connor said. “It took them five seconds to fall in love and it’s taking a year to part and go their separate ways.” - Talk about the girls</ref>
He decided to go to Thunder Bay when his parents separated as it would let him stay close to Laurie.<ref>“And they’ll be long distance. They asked earlier, if we kids were to split up… who would want to go?”
“And?” Lucy asked.
“And Grumble would stay by default because he has to, and Dad would stay and Declan and Kerry would stay. Sheridan and Rowan would go with my mom. Rowan could follow after Laurie if she gets into school in Thunder Bay and Sheridan wants out of the small town.”
