Clementine ‘Clem’ Robertjon is a Gilded Lily trying to build her life.
Personality
Kindly. Despite all she's been through Clem has been able to hold onto her morals and doesn't knowingly take advantage of the items she holds if it would hurt of negatively change people.
She avoids close relationships for fear of those around her getting hurt.<ref name=":0">Her disposition is kind, if troubled. She very much enjoys the company of people, but avoids maintaining any long-term relationships. Many people close to her have died, including her friends and family, or else they’ve suffered worse fates. She earns a fair income and alternates between periods of seclusion and times spent wandering the city, with a focus on the arts.
Clementine is well aware of the existence of Others and suspects practitioners, but has been kept from full awareness, in part because awakening her or fully revoking her Innocence would tie one to her, and none of the twenty or so practitioners who have directly or indirectly been involved with her are willing to do so when it comes to Clem Robertjon. Her existence is too fraught with hazard, and her relatively intact survival up to this point may be owed to her Innocence. To take away that safety net while simultaneously lashing their fortunes to hers is not a risk any are willing to take. She remains quietly and enthusiastically interested, frustrated, and curious and these facts should be minded. - Bonus Material: Dossiers</ref>
She has some skill at handling the supernatural but is frustrated by the fact that no-one who knows more is willing to risk satisfying her curiosity.<ref name=":0" />
She's made a career out of selling her found items to Practitioners after the community took note of her, allowing her to finally put her life in some semblance of order.<ref>The practitioner community took a hand in events after an event with a piece of currency that ‘drank’ nearby change and loose money to increase its denomination before ‘shitting out’ (to use the assigned practitioner’s vernacular) a sapphire and becoming a penny again. Once Clem had people to sell the items to and a bit of a listening ear, she found something of an equilibrium. She was later offered a low-cost apartment at Sargent Ave Hall. - Bonus Material: Dossiers</ref>
Given the Pattern that Bristow used her actions in Kennet are somewhat influenced by her fellow Aware Sharon and Daniel.
Relationships
Significant Other
Non-Binary person who may well be her soulmate.
Kennet Trio
Seemed to get along with them well.
Lawrence Bristow
While he was admittedly helpful to Clem,<ref name=intro>“He keeps strange tenants. Some are complicated. A gilded lily, who stumbles on magic items by accident on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. [... "] Alexander spoke, “A lot of the residents have something intrinsically different about them. The Gilded Lily has always been a Gilded Lily, dating back to early childhood, when she was drawn to the antique store. She led a chaotic, confused life until practitioners stepped in to offer counsel, and take things off her hands. She will, by virtue of the stars she was born under or a pattern established in long-running bloodlines, either find magic items or have magic items find her. I don’t know if you could retrieve what the couch potato has lost.”

“He does errands for his landlord in exchange for a cut on rent. One of a few that do.”
“So is that his strength?” Verona asked. “A bunch of people that run errands, and then the rest are just there, pumping power into his place of power?”
“There are other things. He buys interesting items from the Gilded Lily, who runs an online store.

“I suspect he’ll send his Aware to Kennet. I’d guess at least three of these six. The Gilded Lily is a kind girl who he’s helped out a lot, so he might ask her to deliver something to someone in the city. She may very well literally trip over something you’ve forgotten about or weren’t even aware of, if she doesn’t bring something into the city. She’ll pick it up or unwittingly bring it with her, and disaster frequently follows from that, forcing Others out of hiding or forcing local practitioners to handle the crisis.” - Excerpt from Leaving a Mark 4.8</ref> she doesn't completely trust him; partly because she knew he was keeping things from her. Was willing to take an hours long drive to BHI if it meant getting one over on him.
Appearance
Clementine is a woman of Asian descent, with short hair, but with an overall feminine appearance.<ref>Clementine’s hair was short and parted like a schoolboy’s, but she had a lot of feminine affectation in the choice of basic makeup, shirt, shorts, and shoe colors, and a bigger-than-average chest that would make it hard for her to be mistaken as a little boy from any distance. - Excerpt from Back Away 5.5</ref> She has scars on her face, neck and arm.<ref>She also had scars. Some were a bruised purple-blue that would always stand out, and others were smaller. One by her eye, making it perpetually a bit more closed than the other, one at the side of her throat, one bad one inside the crook of her elbow. It looked like she’d been stabbed at one point, with how straight and short a line it was, on the back of her forearm. - Excerpt from Back Away 5.5</ref>
To some people with good enough Sight like Avery's her aware condition is apparent.<ref>She had hesitated to step outside because of the woman stooped over at the doorway, which was stupid. But the woman had something going on. Avery saw a silhouette streaked with handprints, translucent and foggy where those handprints didn’t exist, connections spilling out from the cracks as film reels or belts with sections cut out to suggest scenes. Footprints made her recent travels across the library obvious – from front door to table to bathroom to kids section to table. Residual crimson touched some handprints and connections.

An Other? No. Avery didn’t get that vibe.
Aware? It didn’t seem anywhere near as extreme as Kevin, Ted, Rae, or Clementine had been. Kevin with the blood weeping from his eye, bloody connections groping out. Ted caked in so many handprints and carrying so many connections he barely looked human, Rae with her wall of handprints around her, Clementine with handprints moving, groping in the dark around her.
This wasn’t as animated, but there was something, still.

“She’s ... like what Toadswallow told us about, with the Aware. [Repulsive] thing for goblins.” - Excerpt from Shaking Hands 9.8</ref>
Abilities and Art
Clem naturally attracts Magic items to her, a pattern which has accelerated throughout her life.<ref>Note – At this stage, the progression of ‘finds’ continues to accelerate, monthly rather than seasonal. - Bonus Material: Dossiers</ref> The Carmine Beast's blood boosted her power, or possibly the cracked temporal watch, caused her to find multiple items during her visit to Kennet.
She is an Aware person who after her visit to Kennet has an almost complete awareness<ref name=bwc>An eye with a three-quarter circle appears at her shoulder.

Chronology
Before the Story
Whatever the reasons, a man who can not lie claimed that Clem has "always been a Gilded Lily".<ref name=intro/>
Had a hard childhood with many different items coming along and ruining her life effecting it in a generally deleterious way. Almost all of her family is dead at this point those remain seem to have broken off contact with her.<ref>“The woman with the scars, Clementine? It started for her when she was little. She lost most or all of her family, she can’t hold a steady job so she works online, and it’s not even being C.E.O.. Even love- a simple relationship, it’s hard for her. Just dating, she’s scared because people who enter her life die. A lot.” - Excerpt from Shaking Hands 9.6</ref>
She sells some of her items to various parties online.
Kennet Visit
Was convinced by her landlord Bristow to visit the town of Kennet to gather information. As she was part of a set arranged by her landlord her behavior was influenced by the people she was with such as daniel's obsessiveness and Sharon's vindictiveness.[citation needed]
Was convinced to go home with Daniel, and to take Sharon with them.
Later Events
Met Alexander Belanger outside of Sargent Hall while looking for a lost friend, he had something important he wanted to discuss with her.
While she came to BHI on because of Alexander she choose to confront Bristow on the Trio's behalf instead.
