One After Another 10.b is the second chapter and the second Interlude of One After Another. Melissa makes major moves, a heroic cigarette goes on patrol.

Plot

melisa is discovered smoking gets in trouble try's to rid a cigarette but it stays around. Her mom walks into the room and realizes her daughter has been endangering her heath and covering it up so long.

Calls Louise about the situation and ends up in a meeting with Lucy, Aver and Snowdrop about her options in the world. They lay out roughly four options with one havina dule fern calls back

Cig goes on his rounds alerting Edith of various problems

Checking in on an elders grief counseling group he hears about one man having a recurrent nightmare.

A hurt girl desperetly searches for a new heart attacking another girl to get the material only for Edith alerted by Cig to attack and kill her.

A witch hunter shows up wanting to hear about stories.

Trivia

• Though Melissa's mother is annoyed with her behavior this chapter showcases a much healthier parent child relationship then between Verona and her dad.
