Null 9.6 is the sixth chapter of Null. After climbing back from the cracks of death with the aid of a forgotten god, Blake now wields the shattered corpse of his best friend's killer against an incarnation of annihilation.
Plot
Having reemerged from the chaotic Drains, Blake finds his perceptions heightened. Ur's presence provokes Blake to run into a crisscrossing array of lights. The demon's hand attempts to reach through flesh-dissolving barriers of light, but only manages to yank his Hyena Blade. Blake cleanses off Ur's taint from his sword, just in time for Ur's next barrage of attacks. A quick and failed dash for the exit has Blake return to the array of lights with materials to expand his safe area. Having figured out Ur's weakness, Blake starts creating a warding diagram from his and Rose's life story. Blake catches Ur attempting to drop the roof on him, so he makes a final sprint for the exit. The Thorburn Bogeyman screams at Ur, stating how he has won, before finally breaking through.
Blake returns to his apartment to better examine his damages from becoming an Other. That done, he says goodbye to his old life, now torn and scattered apart.
Blake finds his friends discussing the idea of using Barbatorem. When they notice his presence, Blake is hurt to see that they see him as their enemy. Worse, Blake is trapped in the mirrors.
