Laird Behaim is the leader of the Behaim circle, one of the most influential groups in Jacob's Bell. He often takes point in council meetings. Laird is the local police chief in addition to being a practitioner, and is well respected by civilians and other practitioners alike. He is a Chronomancer, having the ability to affect time and peoples perceptions of it, and as such his implement and familiar are a pocketwatch. He is catious and well versed in dealing with the local population. He goes by Laird Demill in public.
