Skye Putnam is a resident of Thunder Bay and school friend of Avery's.

Personality

She describes herself as something of a drama queen and tends to overact to events.<ref>“You know me, I’m the drama queen…” “Some competition in that space, on the team. Drama princess?”

She's a member of the lacrosse team, when she joined their was already another Skye on the team so her teammates started calling her by her surname instead.<ref>The rule on the team was that if there was another girl with the same first name, it was first come, first served, and you got your last name instead, otherwise. Relationships

Her older brother is gay and was part of the gay straight alliance before it closed down due to drama.<ref>Putnam’s big brother was gay and he’d been in the gay-straight alliance club when it had gone up in flames. Avery is a fellow team mate as well as being her friend.

Appearance

She's attractive with brunette hair, an athletic physique and a slender build. She has upwards sweeping cheekbones and light freckles.<ref>Skye Putnam was probably the most conventionally attractive girl on the team and Putnam knew it and she loved it. Brunette, slender, athletic, fun, nice. She had a shape to her face with upswept cheekbones that, along with a smattering of freckles lighter than Avery’s, made Avery think that Putnam was a better ‘deer’ than she was.
