Lost for Words 1.1 is the first chapter of the Lost for Words arc. It is from Verona's perspective.
Plot
Verona stares down a faceless woman outside her house. After a brief argument with her father, she leaves to meet up with Lucy and Avery.
The trio heads into the woods and meet with Matthew, Edith, the trio's Forsworn Practitioner predecessor Charles Abram, and a collection of Others. They reveal that the trio is to investigate the death of the Carmine Beast, regardless of whether they actually solve the case. If they do this, they will be taught "magic and strange things".
