Breach 3.2 is the second chapter of Breach. Blake starts being social, starting with the least social person possible.

Plot

Briar Girl's bunny responds to Blake's attempt at negotiations by transforming into a snarling, feathered wolf. Blake tries to continue by appealing to her pride; unfortunately she has very little and even goes into detail about how awful her life is. Blake manages to guess that she improved herself with magic to make her life a bit easier. After being asked if they could ever be friends, Briar Girl explains why they can't, the purposes of animals, and the origins of Demons. Rose clarifies that that origin story has been debunked. Briar Girl shrugs cause it's close enough, then goes on to explain how balanced her form of practice is.

Returning to the negotiations, Briar Girls demands all of their land in exchange for letting them live. Rose reverses it by asking what Blake wants; a lesson or gift in exchange for a bit of land. Blake and Rose work together to convince Briar Girl why the next heirs would be worse than him, and that he is her best chance at getting any land at all. Eventually they agree on letting Blake and Rose leave unharmed in exchange for them verifying if they can just move the house far away. They talk a bit more before finally agreeing on a bit of knowledge in exchange for a bit of land. Briar Girl teaches them how to use hosting and glamour to shapeshift. With negotiations finished, they go their separate ways.

Back in the house, Blake plans who to talk with next. He uses his glamour ink to turn into a black guy, so he can safely leave the house. He heads to Maggie's school to carefully ask her for her goblins. After figuring out Blake shapeshifted himself, Maggie gives him three paper cages and a whistle.
