The Mann, Levinn, and Lewis firm is a supernatural sect of Lawyers who aid practitioners in paying off their karmic debts or any other tasks they may need done. Those who join are stripped of their previous identities and work for the benefit of the firm in exchange for their karma being taken by the lawyers and a foothold in the world for Demons.
They stay employed until it is paid off, with roughly five hundred and seventy or so years of service being the price for one lifetime of karmic debt, but with enough hard work a practitioner can take up the mantle of one of the partners, freeing whoever had it last. They can only act in the interest of the firm, and the newly signed on practitioners answer to the firm partners.
