Shamanism

Shamanism is the art of utilizing the spirits found naturally in the world perform esoteric feats. Those who utilize this form of magic exclusively are known as Shamans.

Methodology

Shamanism is heavily-reliant on the number of spirits in an area, which are manipulated through the use of runes or sigils and a power source of some kind to spur them into action. The uses range from anything like picking locks to moving items like invisible hands or driving people away. But spirits can have their loyalty waver and depending on the number of practitioners they can be a finite resource within an area.
