Rose Thornburn was the decades long head of the Thorburn mantion and grandmother of protagonist Blake Thorburn. A prolific author and feared Diabolist of Jacobs's Bell, Rose is noteworthy for her sucessful binding of the other known as Barbatorem. Her gathered knowledge is described as being on a nuclear power level by Laird Behaime. She is also the informal author of several handwritten journals.
