</infobox> Doug was the former Astrologer and mentor to Diana Thompson. He was an innovative practitioner who combined the technology of the time to create constructs out of spirits amongst other things.<ref>Histories 7</ref> When he died, he offered his ghost to Conquest to keep Diana safe.

Appearance

In his appearance he was described as young, but his hairline had started receding at the first chance it got. His glasses weren’t thick, but they were tall and wide. His beard was shaved short, his narrow body suggested he wasn’t eating too regularly.<ref>Histories 9</ref>

Personality

He was described as cutting edge for his time and innovative, capable of making learning fun. He was also protective of Diana, prioritizing her safety above all else.
