Word of God, often abbreviated WoG, is a real-world term used by fans to refer to comments from an author on a work, such as statements made in interviews. In the case of the Pact universe, it refers to comments by J.C. "Wildbow" McCrae, the series' creator.

The primary sources for Word of God on the Pactverse are Pact Dice materials written by Wildbow in his spare time for roleplayers, and Reddit comments answering questions by fans on /r/Parahumans (the primary subreddit for discussing Wildbow's works.)
