The Least Spear is an angelic being summoned by Evangelists. One of the more basic summonings, it is similar to a Power but more flexible.<ref name=":0">Lesser Practicing Common lesser spells and practices at an Evangelist’s disposal
Spear, Least (Soldier) - Typically requires a libation - a circle drawn on the ground with a pre-prepared solution (typically ‘holy water’), and a short, twenty-word statement.  Summons a spear, as a vaguely angelic impression with a polearm, shield, and full armor. As summonings go, it is fairly durable, and as strong as a strong human, though Puissance plays a role.  The Spear acts as a Power (see below) might, but is less connected to the Angelic side of things. As such, it is not limited in the same ways, being somewhat autonomous, and will attack those who attempt to pass within reach of its spear, unless those individuals have been said to be okay by the Evangelist.  The Evangelist can have the Spear move and strike out by devoting the whole of their own focus and saying words. Behaviour

The Spear is less connected to the angelic than most Powers, and thus somewhat more autonomous. It will attack those who attempt to pass within reach of its spear, unless those individuals have been said to be okay by the Evangelist who summoned it. It can also be directed to take specific actions by the summoner, although this takes focus.<ref name=":0" />

Summoning

It can be summoned using a circle drawn on the ground in pre-prepared liquid (typically holy water) and a short, twenty-word incantation.<ref name=":0" />

Appearance

A shadowy angelic figure with a spear, shield, and full armor.<ref name=":0" />

Abilities

Considered relatively durable, and as physically strong as a strong human. It's power depends somewhat on the power and skill of the summoner. Better summoners can grant it additional abilities, such as levitation or full-blown flight.<ref name=":0" />
