The Aurum in Gold is a Judge, governing over much of Ontario and Manitoba.

Personality

Relationships

At some point, he visited Edith and "audited" her, warning her against collecting to many enchanted or cursed items.<ref>The Aurum came to audit.”

“I don’t know.  But the centipede is said to be a spirit with ties to civilization.  Primarily in the East, but… Canada absorbs cultures from all over.  It’s not unusual that we drew that in.”

He transformed Francis into a pile of coins for interfering with the Carmine tournament.<ref>“Careful,” Toadswallow interjected.  “Witch Hunter got turned to coinage, just by that hole in the wall.  I think that’s something like the Brownies at the school.  Looked when we all know we shouldn’t.  I think they’ve made it clear, interfering from the outside will be punished.”- Excerpt from Summer Break</ref> It is unknown if this was terminal.

Appearance

He appears as an older teenager or young man with long straight black hair and flowing golden robes with wide sleeves. If attacked with the intent to kill or to replace him on the throne he sets a contest for his attacker.<ref>The Carmine fights back, normally, the Sable sets a price on his killing, and the Aurum makes it a contest.”- Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.8</ref>
