</infobox> Bangnut is a gremlin that moved to Kennet after the attack by Bristow's aware.

Relationships

Like most of Kennet's goblins he is friends with Snowdrop.<ref>In the back, Snowdrop went on, “had to tell Bangnut that no, obviously an opossum high score can’t be how much trash blows out of your rear end when you get hit by a car.”- Excerpt from Shaking Hands 9.2</ref>

Appearance

He is slightly bigger than Biscuit and has a thin upper body with a heavy lower half, his overalls stuffed with bits of junk and he carries a hammer in each hand.<ref>Bangnut was just a bit bigger than Biscuit and not equipped to climb in the same way.  His upper body was skinny and his lower body was heavy and made triply heavy by little overalls that were stuffed with rusty tools and bits of metal.  Bristling even, to the point that Verona had to wonder about the state of his junk, amid all that junk.  He carried a hammer in two hands and when he found he couldn’t climb up Jabber with one hand and two feet he used the hammer, hooked it on the shoulder of the little alchemical creation, and used that for leverage. - Excerpt from Shaking Hands 9.5</ref>

Like most gremlins he is skilled with technology.

Chronology

He was forcibly recruited by Toadswallow after he and his fellow goblins breached Kennet's perimeter.<ref>Bangnut and Humpydump caught up, taking in the scene.

They were too distracted to see the large hands reach out, seizing them by their heads and lifting them off the ground.

Toadswallow lunged out of the bush, syringe in hands, and plunged it into Tatty’s chest as she turned.  His weight pressed her back against the tree.

Helped the trio investigate the dopplegangers at the police station.

Was present for the fight with the Witch Hunter.

He blew up the car that a spirit of technological disaster was hiding in causing it to flee.<ref>Bangnut escaped the car and ran for it.

“He’s not totally useless,” Tatty muttered.

“Bangnut?”

“Only a bit useless,” Tatty said, quiet.

Avery was distracted by what Tatty was saying, and tracking where Bangnut was going, and she didn’t see the driver go to start up the car.  The key was turned in the ignition, and a bang cut through ongoing conversations on the patio, a loud, deep-in-the chest kind of sound.  Fire erupted at the front of the car, flames licking up out and around the front of the hood.- Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.10</ref>
