Still suffering from a massive loss of blood, [[Blake]] ruminates on who he, Blake, is. [[Evan]] leads the way out as Blake stumbles through the jail and into the stairway. Meanwhile [[Rose]] keeps him focused on reality, just in time to cast a hide spell from passing officers. As they continue down the stairs, Blake explains what has happened thus far to Rose. Conviction 5.3 is the third chapter of Conviction. Blake tries to fill Rose Duncan tries to capture them. Blake almsot falls into the spirit world; Evan decides to become Blake's familiar.
Plot[edit]
Still suffering from a massive loss of blood, Blake ruminates on who he, Blake, is. Evan leads the way out as Blake stumbles through the jail and into the stairway. Meanwhile Rose keeps him focused on reality, just in time to cast a hide spell from passing officers. As they continue down the stairs, Blake explains what has happened thus far to Rose.
