Breaking out and disrupting the patterns they try to use is an excellent way to beat them.
Behavior[edit]
Their base behavior is heavily dictated by which force has swelled in them to make them what they are. Ogre.<ref name=":1"/> They are not known for their intelligence.<ref>“On the other hand, if they are bound by the Seal, that binding will usually bear provisions about how they may interact with humans. Unbound, they have difficulty approaching and instinctively sense the karmic danger of breaching order. Formation[edit]
When the Pillars of Human Existence or equivalents blossom in an individual they can become an Ogre.<ref name=":1">“Ogres are much like men, but more brutish in some ways, less brutish in others. The word ogre derives from Orcus, an Etruscan deity of death, but their origins are wider. They are massive Others resembling men, content to dine on humans, but Death, War, Nature, Fate, or other forces have swelled in them and made them great in stature. They may be bleak, violent, bestial, or important, respectively. They are often simple, prone to rhythms and patterns in keeping with their nature. These rhythms and patterns can be exploited.”

Arguably the 'mature' form of Ogre where they have removed the element that made them great and cultivated other forces.

Trivia[edit]
- Much like Fae and Goblins the term Ogre, which does ultimately come from the Etruscan god Orcus,<ref name=":1"/> and was popularized in French, has been applied to a variety of creatures throughout the world's culture. Nearly anywhere one can find large voracious humanoid creatures that fit the description of an ogre and as such were translated as such into english or similar romance languages.
