The Resident is the Kennet Undercity member in charge of the hospital.

Personality[edit]

Seems perfectly fine with doing excessive harm despite being in the medical profession.

Relationship[edit]

He's allied with the fetus eating ghoul that attacked when Bristow's aware invaded Kennet.<ref>He was standing behind an old man that Verona recognized as the old ghoul that she’d had to deal with when Sharon the Skeptic had knocked down the barrier around Kennet.- Excerpt from Playing a Part 15.1</ref>

Appearance[edit]

His time in the Undercity has made him knotted.

The Resident is tall, thin as a broom stick and with a lipless mouth and scarred over eyes. He wears a suit with multiple extra sleeves sewn onto the end of his arms.<ref>The Resident was tall, literally broomstick thin, and dressed in a suit that looked like multiple suit-sleeves had been torn or cut from the shoulder of a suit, then stitched end to end.  His mouth was thin, lipless, and his eyes were scarred over, with fresh cuts in the scarring, like they’d been made frantically.- Excerpt from Playing a Part 15.1</ref>

Abilities[edit]

As owner of the hospital he fixes people in return for their loyalty, they also have their names added to a lottery.<ref>“They knew what they agreed to when they signed,” the Resident said.  “At my hospital, we’ll fix anyone that can be fixed.  No charge except loyalty, and your name gets dropped into the lottery.  If we draw you…”- Excerpt from Playing a Part 15.1</ref>

Chronology[edit]

He was arrested by a group of local Council members consisting of Verona, Tashlit and Matthew. Following the violent death of one of his uncooperative subordinates thanks to the Doom of Edith James he agreed to be brought in front of the Kennet Council.

His position was taken by the School Nurse, a subordinate of the Vice Principal.<ref>The School Nurse’[...]d taken over the hospital after Verona had raided it, but was still technically subordinate to the Vice Principal. - Excerpt from Left in the Dust 16.1</ref>
