Ornias is a Demon. In order to summon him, one must call his name seven times. It is implied that summoning him is very costly.<ref name="lewis-7x">“Ms. Lewis,” I said. “Would you happen to know the name of that something nasty that might come if I called it?”

When Blake is confronted by Letita, Ms. Lewis tells him about Ornias and offers to shoulder the cost of summoning him in that situation, should Blake need it. Blake says the name six times.<ref>Damages 2.5</ref>

Trivia[edit]

According to the Testament of Solomon, an ancient or early mediaeval religious text, Ornias was an annoying demon or jinn who resided in the constellation Aquarius. After he began preying on the son of one of the builders of the Temple of Jerusalem, King Solomon prayed to God for assistance. God sent Solomon the Seal of Solomon, a signet ring, which Solomon then used to bind Ornias.
