Tatty Bo Jangles is a Goblin that joined Kennet after the fall of the perimeter.

Personality

She is known for her ability to craft cunning yet terrible plans.

Appearance

She weaves her drooping breasts into a dress.<ref>The goblin with its own drooping breasts woven into a bruised purple dress around her flailed, legs kicking, arms groping.  Snowdrop pinned the arms down. - Excerpt from Shaking Hands 9.8</ref>

Abilities

She has two weapon forms, the first is an interwoven chain whips with barbs attached<ref>Tatty, covered in scratches, followed up.  Avery caught the goblin, who became a weapon.

“If you’re not open to discussion, I have little reason to stay, if this will be my treatment.”

A charade.  The little reasons to stay were important ones.

Avery unfurled the whip, aiming not up at Faerie or fairy, but at the wing to the side, that was enveloping the area.  Tendrils of whip covered in small barbs grabbed onto the material and nearby branches, every single length of chain finding a different target.  Avery planted her feet. - Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.z</ref> and the second is a bola comprised of three tear shaped weights with a spike in each.<ref>“Tatty Bo Jangles?  Ratty bola tangle!” Avery shouted, as Tatty jumped into her open hand.  The bolas had rope of coarse, black hair that was wound together, the ropes so twisted they refused to go straight.  There were three balls at each end, each slightly teardrop shaped, with a coin-sized disc welded on, a spike protruding from each disc. - Excerpt from False Moves 12.2</ref>

Chronology

Before the story

Once tried to steal a tiger from the zoo, this lead to the deaths of half their group.<ref>Tatty’s gang are minor vandals and troublemakers who have spent the last few years going from misadventure to misadventure.  Most of these actions were unsuccessful and/or mystifying to mundane humans.  Recent efforts include:

— One attempt to break into a gun range and steal weaponry despite the fact that few in the group are of a size to hold a gun and none are of a size to easily carry and aim one.

— One effort to steal the curbside trash of a minor actress and auction it off online.  The most literate and tech savvy of the group is the gremlin Bangnut and he writes/uses a computer at the level of a 2nd grader.  After weeks of no replies on the illegible auctions, they abandoned the ploy.  Apparently their own trash mingled with the stolen trash and they felt it was irresponsible to risk auctioning their stuff instead of hers.

— A campaign to erect large and detailed ‘snow dongs’ in mysterious locations across and around the city.

— One effort to steal a tiger from the Toronto Zoo as a pet & mascot.  This halved the size of their group. - Excerpt from [8.a Spoilers] New Kennet Others Correspondance #1</ref>

Fall of the perimeter

She was foribly recruited by Toadswallow after the invasion by Bristow's aware.

She was one of the goblins that helped steal the magic diagram that Melissa had made.

She helped out against the Raphael the Witch Hunter.

She and her crew planned to raid the house of the Cat Aware, intending to steal the collar of one of her cats that she believed had previously killed goblins and take it to the Warrens.<ref>“Gotta go.  We’re raiding this cat lady’s house, she’s got so many cats.  It’s awful!  But one of their cats, it’s a goblin killer.  You can see it in its eyes.  Too much green.  Three goblins, we think.”

“Haven’t there never been many goblins in Kennet?” Lucy asked.

“Semantics!”

“That’s not actually semantics, I’m pretty sure you’re just wrong,” Lucy said.

“If we get the tag off the collar of the goblin killer cat, we can take it to the Warrens and we’ll be heroes!  So brave, they’ll say!”- Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.12</ref> They hatch this daring endeavour to get revenge on Cat Kind for their previous atrocities. <ref> “Don’t you have really bad luck with felines already?” Lucy asked.  “The zoo thing?”

Tatty, Peckersnot, and Bangnut all stopped, straightened, then touched forehead, bellybutton, left nipple, right nipple, then did a crotch tug.

“Yes,” Tatty said, once she was done.  Then, like she remembered something, or came up with something on the spot, she renewed her enthusiasm. “That’s why!  That’s why we’re doing this!  We have to get back at the cats.” -Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.12</ref> It did not go well.<ref name=":0">Maricica watched some of the goblins get settled.  The goblin Verona had named perched on a branch near ground level, beside Tatty, wheezing with breath rattling at the end of each wheeze.  He was covered in scratches, many deep, his singular eye was bloodshot, with a scratch tracing along the side, notching the nearby eyelid.  He seemed unwilling to move the eye itself, as a result, and kept his gaze focused down and to the side, most of his attention on breathing properly.  Tatty was in similar straits, and appeared dressed in something that wasn’t her own dangling breasts woven together, because she’d swathed much of her body in bandage.  Doglick and Bangnut were a bit less battle-damaged.- Excerpt from Dash to Pieces 11.z</ref>

She was present when the trio tried to arrest Maricica.<ref name=":0" />
